(Family) holidays are all about shared experiences and memories, and at Château de Montcaud there is no reason to complain of boredom. Our region has so many spectacular destinations and natural wonders that we can hardly name them all. But we promise that we will spare no effort to ensure that you leave our hotel with wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. Day trips and excursions
- Explore prehistoric caves: Aven d’Orgnac, Grotte Chauvet (UNESCO), Grotte de la Salamandre
- Visit historic Pont du Gard, and dip your toes in the Gardon river
- Shop at a local market: e.g. Uzès, Barjac or L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue
- Let the kids decide at the Haribo museum in Uzès
- Have a blast at original amusement park "Parc Spirou"
- Go on a treetop adventure at an accrobranche park
- Take a sightseeing tour of Avignon on board «Le Petit Train», and go on an interactive tour of the Pope's palace
- Discover all things Roman in Nîmes and learn about the origins of your jeans
- Go on an aerial walk and get lost in a labyrinth at the Bamboo Forest near Anduze
- Visit a bird sanctuary or go horseback-riding in Camargue
- Spend a day at the sea-side and swim in saltwater near La Grande Motte or Grau du Roi
