Château de Montcaud is surrounded by five hectares (12 acres) of gardens and park lands. When the chateau was built in the mid 19th century, the dreamy, romantic garden was a playful, light-hearted answer to the strict, geometric designs of the current period.
If you had to find a word that perfectly sums up the interior design in our rooms and suites, it would be épuré – a French word that can be translated as clean, refined or classic. The rooms and suites are designed to allow you to relax after a busy day, escape the bright sunlight of southern France, and recharge your batteries for another day of adventure and excitement.
A trip to Château de Montcaud is worth it for the food alone. With a top chef in the kitchen, a neighbourhood eatery and a Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant, as well as a large number of culinary events throughout the year, the chateau is a paradise for foodies.
